It is a proven fact that the returns obtained from acquiring assets and holding them in portfolios over the long term tend to be very low. This phenomenon is due to the various phases of the cycle that all markets go through. By holding the asset permanently, returns tend to turn negative during market downturns, penalizing potential positive returns and resulting in a considerably low average, often just catching up with inflation.

To maximize returns, it is imperative to invest during the recovery and expansion phases of the markets, when price curves are steeper.
Subsequently, we recommend disinvesting before the price reaches a plateau and begins to correct.
The funds generated by the divestment process must be reinvested in another asset that is in the recovery phase at that moment. This usually occurs in another segment of the same market or possibly in another market.
